State of Jefferson EMS Conference 2026

We are so excited to welcome you back to Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, for a three-day EMS education extravaganza!

Our main conference is March 13-14, both days packed with CE classes taught by local and national experts in emergency medicine. The conference features ALS, BLS, and Leadership tracks in addition to top-notch general sessions.

March 12 is a full day of hands-on preconference courses for providers who want to take a deep dive on topics ranging from rural vehicle extrication to respiratory critical care:

Managing the Agitated Patient: Part lecture, part hands-on, a national expert will lead you through safe sedation and restraint practices.
Tactical Emergency Combat Care: This 8-hour class will prepare you to stabilize and manage life-threatening traumatic injuries.
Extrication for Rural Providers: Using common tools in small groups, get hands-on experience with rapid trauma extrication.
Fire and Rescue Operations and Extrication for Transport Providers: Learn rapid extrication and scene management techniques for the day you are first on scene.
Hands-On High-Risk Obstetrics: Learn and practice real-world techniques for management of breech, shoulder dystocia, and other high-risk presentations.
Respiratory Dynamics: Pig Lung Lab: Using live tissue, practice critical respiratory procedures and ventilator management skills.

To register for pre-conference courses, choose them as an add-on to your main conference ticket OR to register for ONLY a preconference course, choose "Preconference Only" as your ticket type, and then choose your classes in the add-on menu.
