Currently based in Central Texas, Mike has served in a wide range of roles including Clinical Coordinator, Field Training Officer, and EMS Captain. His background spans field operations, quality improvement, and instructor development—always with a focus on elevating patient care through strong fundamentals and effective teamwork.
A passionate educator, Mike is known for his engaging teaching style that blends humor, realism, and high clinical relevance. He has developed and delivered training for thousands of EMTs and paramedics across the country, emphasizing that great medicine begins with mastering the basics. Beyond the classroom, Mike co-hosts The EMS Show, a national podcast exploring best practices, innovation, and leadership in prehospital care.
